This was an interesting commission. Not because of the figure, I mean its Jordan. Who doesn’t like MJ. I’ts the person it was for. An old client of mine reached out to me to see if could paint something for graduation gift. This senior just graduated high school. You would think he wanted a Lebron, maybe Steph Curry, or maybe KD (Kevin Durant) painting. But, nope Jordan. Kid wasn’t born when Jordan retired the first time lol. But either way I was more than happy to knock this out.
This is currently hanging up in his dorm room. I wonder how many “Jordan vs Lebron” debates that painting has gotten. Interesting like I said…
